Shanahan Sanitoa

Shanahan Sanitoa (born July 26, 1989 in Orange , California ) is a track and field athlete who competes internationally for American Samoa .

Career

At the Athletics Oceania Championships in Samoa in 2006 , Sanitoa was part of the 4 x 100 m relay of his country, which, however, could not qualify for the final.

At the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing , he started in the 100 m run, but could not qualify for the next round in his preliminary run. His time of 12.60 seconds was the worst of all participants.

Sanitoa has six siblings, his brother Sonny plays American football at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas .

In 2014 he graduated from Sam Houston State University in Texas with a Bachelor of Arts degree in criminal justice.
