The Shandao Pagoda of the Xiangji Temple ( Chinese  香 积 寺 善 导 塔 , Pinyin Xiāngjī sì shàndǎo tǎ , English Shan Dao Pagoda at Xiangji Temple ) is a pagoda in the Chang'an district of Xi'an , the capital of the Shaanxi Province of China . It is located about 17 km southwest of Xi'an. The pagoda dates back to 680 of the Tang Dynasty . It is a Miyan style brick pagoda. It is 33 m high. Of its original thirteen floors, only eleven are left today. It is not Shendao's funerary pagoda.

Shandao (Japanese. Zendō, 613-681) was a Buddhist monk of the Tang Dynasty and patriarch of the School of the Pure Land (Chinese. Jingtu zong ), which originated in the Xiangji Temple. Shendao is said to have copied the Amitabha Sutra over 100,000 times and painted over 300 pictures of the Pure Land.

The Xiangji Temple was built in 706 by the monk Huaiyun 怀 恽 in memory of his great teacher.

The Shandao Pagoda of the Xiangji Temple has been on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China (5-418) since 2001 .
