Shanghai Radio ( callsign XSG ) is a coastal radio station . It transmits on 458 and 500 kHz ( long wave ). A second service XSG21 is transmitted on 522.5 kHz. Telegraphy is operated on the threshold waves 2605 and 2610 kHz. Shanghai Radio also uses a number of other frequencies for different operating modes.
