The Shanghai Wheelock Square is a 298-meter skyscraper in Shanghai . The building, which has 58 floors of offices, is currently (as of 2015) the fourth tallest building in the city, after the Shanghai World Financial Center , the Jin Mao Tower and the Shimao International Plaza . Construction began in 2003, but was temporarily interrupted. After the final height of the tower was reached in autumn 2009, the opening took place in spring 2010. The construction of the building planned by Bregman + Hamann Architects was commissioned by Wharf Holdings .
