Shimao International Plaza is the name of one of the tallest skyscrapers in the world and the fourth tallest skyscraper in Shanghai . The 333 meter high building was erected in 2006 and has 66 floors . The building is owned by the Shimao Group . The building houses a 5-star - luxury hotel " Le Royal Meridien " the Starwood chain .
