The Shangshan site ( Chinese  上山 遗址 , Pinyin Shàngshān yízhǐ , English Shangshan site ) is an archaeological site of the Shangshan culture from the early Neolithic in Pujiang County (浦江 县) in the east Chinese province of Zhejiang .

The Shangshan culture is dated to 11400-8600 before today or "11000-9000 cal BP".

The finds discovered there provide important information about the history of rice cultivation (水稻 shuǐdào) in China.

The Shangshan site ( Shangshan yizhi ) has been on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China (6-83) since 2006 .
