The Shark Fin ( English , Polish Płetwa Rekina , 'shark fin' ) is a pointed, sharp-edged and 230 m high mountain on King George Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It rises between the Stenhouse Glacier and the Ajax Icefall on the banks of the Visca Anchorage .
Polish scientists named it descriptively in 1980.
