The Sharman Point is a headland in southwest of Krakow Peninsula of King George Iceland in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It is 1 km north of Chabrier Rock and immediately west of Vauréal Peak .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 2018. It was named after Alan Sharman (1936-1959), meteorological assistant of the Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey on Signy Island (1958-1959), who died on King George Island on April 23, 1959 in a climbing accident had died.
