Sharon Mesmer

Sharon Mesmer (born December 5, 1960 in Chicago , Illinois , USA ) is an American poet of the late 20th and early 21st centuries.

Life

Mesmer moved to New York City in 1988 and has lived on the US East Coast ever since. She teaches at New York University and at New York's New School the subject Creative Writing .

Mesmer is counted among the representatives of the Flarf poetry.
