Sharon Shepherd

Sharon Shepherd (born June 1, 1938 ) is a former American shot putter and discus thrower .

At the Pan American Games she won silver in the shot put in Chicago in 1959 and bronze in the shot put and in the discus throw in São Paulo in 1963 .

In 1963 she became US champion in the shot put and discus throw, and in 1960, 1962 and 1964 US indoor champion in the shot put.
