The Sharp Valley is a small valley with northeast-southwest orientation on James Ross Island in the Antarctic Weddell Sea . It is located 1.5 km east-southeast of Stoneley Point .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 1983 after Michael Colin Sharp (* 1951), who was field research assistant for the British Antarctic Survey from 1981 to 1982 in the area.
