Shawn Desman (2011)

Shawn Bosco Fernandes (born January 12, 1982 in Toronto , Ontario ) is a Canadian R&B singer of Portuguese origin.

Artistic work

He released his first album "Shawn Desman" in 2002 in Canada. In Canada, the three released singles "Shook", "Spread My Wings" and "Get Ready" reached the Top 10. In May 2005 Sony BMG Canada released Fernandes' second album "Back For More", which achieved an even greater success. In 2005, the singles "Let's Go" and "Red Hair" were released in Canada from this album.

Desman's first single was only placed on the German market in 2006, "Let's Go" entered the German single charts at number 27. “Back for More” also appeared in a new edition in Germany in 2006. This differs from the Canadian edition in the track list and cover color. In 2007 his single "Shook" followed.

Shawn Fernandes modeled the New Yorker Fall / Winter 2006 collection . He is known for his unusual hairstyle, the " sidehawk " (a sloping, short mohawk ).

In the film "Honey" Shawn Fernandes sings the hit "Sexy" with Jessica Alba.

Shawn has two brothers: Daniel (better known as Danny Fernandes ) and Jonathan.
