Sheila Mae Pérez (born December 10, 1985 in Davao City ) is a Filipino water diver . She started in artificial and synchronized jumping from the 3-meter board.

Pérez started diving when he was nine. Since 1997 she has been training in Los Baños under Zhang Dehu, the former coach of the Chinese Olympic team from 1980. At the age of 14, she played her first international championship at the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney and finished off the 3-meter board in the preliminary fight 32nd place. Pérez was the first Filipina to take part in Olympic water jumping competitions. In the following years she won a total of five titles at the Southeast Asian Games. In 2006, she also started at the Asian Games , where she achieved fifth place in the 3-meter synchronized jumping. Pérez was able to qualify for their second Olympic Games at the World Cup in Beijing . In her home country she was considered one of the greatest Olympic hopes, but she could not meet expectations. In the individual from the 3-meter board, she was eliminated again after the preliminary fight as 23rd. At the 2010 Asian Games in Guangzhou , Pérez finished eighth on the 1-meter board and fifth on the 3-meter board.
