Location of Shenmu County in Yulin Prefecture

Shenmu (Chinese 神木县; Pinyin : Shénmù Xiàn) is a district of the prefecture -level city of Yulin in Shaanxi Province in the People's Republic of China . It has an area of ​​7,635 km² and a population of 370,000. Its main town is Shenmu (神木 镇).

The Shimao site (Shimao yizhi 石 峁 遗址) and the site of the ancient city of Linzhou (Linzhou gucheng 麟 州 故城) are on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China .
