Jingbian
Jingbian ( Chinese 靖边 县 , Pinyin Jìngbiān Xiàn ) is a district of the prefecture -level city of Yulin in Shaanxi Province in the People's Republic of China . It has an area of 5,088 km² and has 290,000 inhabitants. Its main town is the large community of Zhangjiapan (张家 畔 镇).
In the district are the ruins of Tongwancheng (统 万 城 遗址, Tǒngwànchéng yízhǐ ), the capital of the Xiongnu , and the Han ruins and tombs Yangqiao pan handai (杨桥 畔 汉代 城 址 与 墓地, Yáng qiáo pàn hàndàài ché yang hàndài ché ) which have been on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China since 1996 and 2013, respectively.
