The Wuhan Gators (engl. Wuhan alligators; by 2017 Shenzhen Well) are an Arena Football - Franchise from Wuhan . You have been playing in the China Arena Football League (CAFL) since 2016 .

history

On May 3, 2016, the CAFL announced the establishment of Shenzhen Najas. They played in the Shenzhen Dayun , which has a capacity of 17,000 spectators. They were able to achieve two wins out of five games in their first season and thus only qualify for the game for fifth place. There they met the Dalian Dragon Kings without a win . The Najas won with 46:30 and were able to lift their season balance to three wins and three defeats.

After the season, the Najas moved from Shenzhen to Wuhan and renamed themselves Wuhan Gators.

The Shenzhen Naja were named after the real cobra (scientific name Naja ), which is native to Shenzhen. The logo was a football with the head of a cobra on it. The logo was in orange and green and should represent the landscape of Shenzhen before it developed into a big city.
