Sherida Triggs

Sherida Lynn Triggs (born July 12, 1985 in Norcross, Georgia ) is an American basketball player .

Life

After her college time at the Old Dominion Monarchs Women's Basketball in Meadowcreek , she moved to SV Halle Lions for the 2007/2008 season and from there to the Finnish first division club Kotka Peli-Karhut. In 2009/2010 she signed the German first division club BC Marburg . After a season, she left the club again.

In 2010 she was reported by the Halle opponent Lejla Bejtic for deliberate assault alleged by the former Halle trainer Peter Kortmann , whereupon the BC Marburg announced criminal charges for defamation against Peter Kortmann. In the game against the Halle Lions, Triggs is said to have been the victim of racist hostility.

After the professional years in Finland and Germany, she returned to Meadowcreek and has been training the Mustangs since 2015.
