Sherry Ayittey

Sherry Ayittey (* 1948 ) is a politician from Ghana and has been Minister for Environment, Science and Technology in the cabinet of John Atta-Mills since the 2008 presidential election in Ghana (currently December 2010).

She studied biochemistry and microbiology. Before her political engagement, Ayittey worked in the management of the largest distillery in Ghana.

Ayittey is a founding member of the National Democratic Congress .
