Shi Shuqing

Shi Shuqing (born October 1945 in Taiwan ) is a Taiwanese writer.

Life

Shi Shuqing published her first short stories at the age of 17. In 1970, after studying foreign languages, she went to New York City University and returned to Taiwan in 1972 with a master's degree in theater studies. She became known as a journalist and chronicler of modern Hong Kong society . She settled in Hong Kong with her American husband in 1978. She mostly published books in which women are in the foreground.
