Shiche (also: Shije , Shijed ; Tibetan : zhi byed ; Chinese  希解派/息结派 , Pinyin Xijie pai ; Sanskrit : Shantikara ; " peacemakers ") refers to both a former, formed in the 11th century school of Tibetan Buddhism and their authoritative teaching, which goes back to Phadampa Sanggye . Phadampa Sanggye built a monastery in Dingri , Dingri Langkhor. The Shiche went under as an independent school in the 15th century, its teaching is one of the great "eight lines of practice of Tibetan Buddhism" (Tib .: sgrub brgyud shing rta brgyad ).

Well-known representatives of this school type include Pha Dampa Sanggye ( pha dam pa sangs rgyas; 1117), Macig Labdrön ( ma gcig lab sgron ), Ma Chökyi Sherab ( rma chos kyi shes rab ; 1055–?), Sochung Gedünbar ( so chung dge ' dun 'bar; 1062–1128), Mawe Sengge ( smra ba'i seng ge; 1186–1247) and Rog Sherab Ö ( rog shes rab' od; 1166–1244).
