Shigeo Yaegashi ( Japanese 八 重 樫 茂 生 , Yaegashi Shigeo , real name: 八 重 樫 茂 夫 at the same reading; * March 24, 1933 in Daejeon , Korea ; † May 2, 2011 , Tokyo Prefecture ) was a Japanese football player .
National team
In 1956, Yaegashi made his debut for the Japanese national soccer team . Yaegashi made 45 international appearances and scored eleven goals. With the Japanese national team, he successfully qualified for the Olympic Games in 1956 , 1964 and 1968 . At the Olympic Games in 1968, Japan won the bronze medal.
