Shin'ya Aikawa ( Japanese 相 川 進 也 Aikawa Shin'ya ; born July 26, 1983 in Saitama Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .

Career

Aikawa learned to play soccer on the school team at Maebashi Ikei High School . He signed his first contract in 2002 with Consadole Sapporo . The club played in the highest league in the country, the J1 League . At the end of the 2002 season, the club was relegated to the J2 League . For the club he completed 133 league games. In 2007 he moved to third division FC Gifu . At the end of the 2007 season, the club rose to the J2 League. For the club he completed 22 league games. At the end of 2008 he ended his career as a football player.
