Shin Kanazawa ( Japanese 金 沢 慎 Kanazawa Shin ; born September 9, 1983 in Saitama Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .

Career

Kanazawa learned to play football in the youth team of Omiya Ardija . He signed his first contract in 2002 with the Omiya Ardija. The club played in the second highest league in the country, the J2 League . In 2004 he was runner-up with the club in the J2 League and was promoted to the J1 League . For the club he completed 93 league games. In 2006 he was loaned to the second division club Tokyo Verdy . For the club he completed 50 league games. In 2008 he returned to Omiya Ardija. At the end of the 2014 season, the club was relegated to the J2 League. In 2015, he became champion of the J2 League with the club and rose again to the J1 League. At the end of the 2017 season, the club was relegated to the J2 League. For the club, he completed 218 league games. At the end of 2019, he ended his career as a football player.
