Shinji Jōjō ( Japanese 城 定 信 次 , Jōjō Shinji ; born August 28, 1977 in Tokyo Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .
career
Shinji Jōjō played in the team at Harayama Middle School in Inzai and then moved to Funabashi High School , which has already produced a large number of professional footballers. After graduating from school, he was hired by the first division club Urawa Red Diamonds in 1996 , loaned to Albirex Niigata in 2002 and moved to the second division club Shonan Bellmare in 2004 , where he ended his career in 2006.
With the Japanese national team he qualified for the 1997 Junior World Cup . In addition, he was temporarily a member of the Olympic selection for the Sydney Summer Games , but was unable to participate due to injury.
