Shinova is an alternative rock band from Bérriz founded in 2008 .

history

Shinova was founded in 2008 by singer Gabriel de la Rosa and bassist Ander Cabello. A first permanent line-up for the band was found with the two guitarists Iñaki Elorza and Javier Martín and the drummer Eneko Urcelay, who joined Cabello and de la Rosa. Over time, the line-up changed so that, in addition to the two band founders de la Rosa and Cabello, Daniel del Valle and Erlantz Prieto are currently playing on the electric guitars and Joshua Froufe on the drums.

In May 2009 the debut album Latidos was released, which can still be assigned to Melodic Metal . It was recorded at the Estudios Santos de Ondarroa in the province of Bizkaia and mastered in Madrid and Buenos Aires . The second full-fledged album La Ceremonia de la Confusión was recorded at Sandman Studios in Madrid and finalized by Mika Jussila at Finnvox Studios in Helsinki .

After the third album with Ana y el Artista Temerario was released on Maldita Records in 2014, the follow-up album Volver was released on Warner Music Spain in autumn 2016 . This entered the Spanish album charts at number 49 and stayed there for a week.
