Coordinates: 30 ° 48 ′ S , 117 ° 51 ′ E The Shire of Mount Marshall is a local government area (LGA) in the Australian state of Western Australia . The area is 10,190 km² and has about 500 inhabitants (2016).
Mount Marshall Shire is located in the western Australian "wheat belt" in the west of the state about 230 kilometers east of the capital Perth . The seat of the Shire Council is in the village of Bencubbin, where about 240 inhabitants live (2016).

The Mount Marshall Council has seven members. They are elected by all residents of the LGA. Mount Marshall is not divided into districts. The Council Chairman and Shire President are also recruited from among the Councilor.
