The Shiver Point is a 670 m high headland at the Oskar-II. coast of Graham Lands on the Antarctic Peninsula . It is located 13 km west of Cape Fairweather and marks the northern boundary of the entrance to Vaughan Inlet and the northwest boundary of the entrance to Artanes Bay .
The Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey charted it in February 1949. The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 1951 as to the prevailing cold there to document ( English shiver , shudder, 'shiver ).
