Shlomo Na'aman

Shlomo Na'aman (born November 10, 1912 in Essen as Hans Salomon Goldreich , † March 23, 1993 in Tel Aviv ) was an Israeli social historian .

Shlomo Na'aman immigrated to Palestine in 1932. He was professor of Middle and Modern History at Tel Aviv University and one of the first employees at the Institute for German History. His research focuses on the constitution of the German labor movement , the life of Ferdinand Lassalle and Moses Hess, and the beginnings of socialist Zionism .
