Shobha Moorthy
Shobha Moorthy (born October 13, 1946 ) is an Indian badminton player .
Career
Shobha Moorthy won her first Indian championship among adults after two junior titles in 1965, where she competed in mixed with AI Sheikh . In 1966 she won the women's doubles for the first time, and in 1971 she won the women's singles for the first time. She was awarded the Arjuna Award for her success .
