Showdown - The Desert Challenge
Showdown - The Desert Challenge is a game show on RTL that has been broadcast since September 21, 2018.
The show is a German adaptation of the US action show "Steve Austin's Broken Skull Challenge". With strength, stamina, physical and mental strength occurred in the middle of Sierra Nevada athletic candidates in the duel mode vs. woman Woman and man vs. Man compete against each other in different disciplines. At the end of each broadcast, an athlete then has to compete on the final individual course, the so-called “showdown”. There are 10,000 euros to be won per edition. The moderator is football expert Patrick Esume .
Well-known participants of the show were u. a. Markus Ertelt , Carolin Hingst and Dardan Morina .
