Shuimogou ( Chinese  水磨沟 区 , Pinyin Shuǐmògōu Qū ; Uighur شۇيموگۇ رايونى, Xuymogu Rayoni ) is a municipality in the prefecture -level city of Ürümqi in the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region of the People's Republic of China . It has an area of ​​91.56 km² and has 163,945 inhabitants (2003).
