Shuofu
Shuofu说 郛 / 說 郛 (100 juan) is a Chinese compilation ( congshu ) with brush notes ( biji ) published by Tao Zongyi陶 宗仪 / 陶 宗儀 (1316–1403) at the end of the Yuan period in the 14th century . The selection was made from a large number of (partially not fully reproduced) sources: "The emphasis is on anecdotes and stories". The history of the work was examined by Chang Bide昌 彼得.
The original has already been lost, but it has been compiled in full from Ming copies. There is an edition in typesetting and printing of the Hanfeilou涵 芬 楼 / 涵 芬 樓. The selection of notes ranges from the Han to the Wei to the Song and Yuan periods . Classical philosophical works, commentaries on poems and poets, and treatises on culture were included. Used works amount to more than 600, including some works that have not survived otherwise. There is also an edition with 120 juan from the late Ming period, it was revised and expanded by Tao Wangting陶王廷 in the Qing period, it contains more than a thousand works, but it contains comparatively many errors.
It was handed down in manuscript form until the 16th century. The editio princeps , however, was not Tao Zongyi's original, but the text of a restoration by Yu Wenbo郁文博 from the late 15th century. This is based on a manuscript in which the last 30 juan are missing. The missing works in this last third of the collection were replaced by works from the Baichuan xuehai百川 学海.
