Security card (plan)
A safety map is a traffic plan in the form of a special or overview map in which dangerous routes are recorded for the purpose of a later, timely defusing of the possible hot spots of the accident . The maps are created with the support of the automobile clubs.
Essence
The data obtained on the basis of the European Road Assessment Program (EuroRAP) introduced in 2001 (consisting of the published accident reports and regular drives with regard to road equipment and design) are published on the one hand in a map and on the other hand handed over to traffic planning for processing. Thus, a road safety atlas is to be created on a European level by 2011.
