Driving

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

In mining and in the miner's language , an inspection is the inspection of a tunnel , a pit or a shaft in a mine or other underground structure in order to inspect and examine it. The term driving is derived from the mining drive and has nothing to do with the use of vehicles. Any movement within a mine is called driving .

species

A regular annual inspection is carried out by the mining authority or a state supervisory authority. It is used for control and operational safety. This inspection corresponds to a bridge test in bridge construction.

A special type of driving was free driving , in which, according to the old mining law, a mine owner's rights of ownership could be withdrawn if it was proven by driving through the mine that the mine was not occupied in accordance with the mining law regulations.

Most of the "drives" are, however, the legally required drives by their shift supervisors: at least once per shift if the employees work in groups and at least twice per shift if the employees work alone. The second inspection can also take place by telephone (by radio or telephone) (commonly known as "telephone inspection").
