Sicx (born June 27, 1970 in Sacramento , California; real name Maxmillian Levec Kunitz ) is a rapper from Sacramento.

biography

He became known along with Brotha Lynch Hung and X-Raided for West Coast Gangsta Rap with a "Sicc Twist". The lyrics are mostly about the dark side of gang life (since he and Brotha Lynch Hung belong to the Crips ), which includes murder, rape, etc.

He is often mistakenly mistaken for a brother of the well-known underground rapper Brotha Lynch Hung, as both grew up together and refer to each other as "brother" in several songs.

Sicx, Brotha Lynch Hung and X-Raided released their first official EP Niggaz In Blacc in 1991 . He also released two solo albums, an album with Brotha Lynch Hung and had some features on compilations and with various artists from Sacramento. He was seen in the film Now Eat (2000) alongside Brotha Lynch Hung. The film is about cannibalism , among other things , which Brotha Lynch Hung often uses as a metaphor in his texts.

arrest

In 2001, Kunitz and his girlfriend were arrested. Both were accused of child abuse , rape and child pornography ; he and his girlfriend are said to have sexually abused both of his adoptive daughters and photographed them in clear poses. Kunitz pleaded guilty, and he and his girlfriend were sentenced to 32 years in prison. Sicx is held in an unspecified California penal institution. In 2004 the sentence was confirmed in the second instance.
