Siegerland home calendar

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Siegerländer Heimatkalender is an annual calendar that has been published by the Siegerländer Heimat- und Geschichtsverein e. V. and is printed by Siegener Verlag Vorländer .

The calendar contains a calendar and is illustrated by regional photos of the Siegerland . In every edition of the home calendar, the deceased is remembered and important events of the past year are remembered in the Siegerland Chronicle.

In 2017 Gunhild Müller-Zimmermann took over the editing of issue number 93 from Alexander Wollschläger , who was responsible for the calendar for 26 years.

The founder of the Siegerland local calendar in 1920 was the Westphalian local researcher, teacher and later director of the Siegerland Museum and the Siegen City Archives , Hans Kruse (1882–1941). He was a descendant of the well-known Siegerland civil servants and theologians family Achenbach. The Siegen writer and local poet Adolf Wurmbach was from 1931 until the war-related cessation of the publication in 1943 and from 1951 to 1967 the responsible editor and editor of the Siegerland local calendar ("calendar man").
