Siegfried Heinzel
Siegfried Heinzel , actually Sigmund Haurwitz , ( September 28, 1870 in Stettin - 1926 in Guben ) was a German theater actor .
Life
Heinzel, son of a factory owner, initially worked for a few years as a German-French correspondent in Hamburg and Berlin.
He had two wishes: either to emigrate to Africa or to become a stage actor. Shortly before he was able to put the former into practice, he became an actor by a lucky, unspecified, coincidence.
He received lessons from Theodor Lebrun and began his stage work in 1892 with a " Schmiere ". In 1893 he came to Potsdam, 1894 to Frankfurt an der Oder, 1895 to Rostock, 1897 to the Belle Alliance-Theater Berlin (debut role "Didier"), 1898 to the Schillertheater Berlin (debut role "Hermann" in Haubenlerche ) and entered 1899 as a "pupil" in Faust his engagement at the Karlsruher Hoftheater.
He was mainly active in the field of nature boys and comedians. In Karlsruhe he had the opportunity to perform in both the classical and modern pieces.
Worth mentioning of his roles are: "Mittelbach" in Senator , "Kehne", "Fincke" in Quitzow , "Grignon" in Frauenkampf , "Hasske" in Johannisfeuer , Bleichenwang , "Bodo" in Kinder der Excellenz etc.
