Siegfried Krische

Siegfried Krische (born June 20, 1963 in Klagenfurt , Carinthia) is an Austrian police officer and performing artist as a clown .

Life

In May 1985 he joined the Austrian Federal Gendarmerie and served as a classified officer at the gendarmerie posts in Ferlach (Carinthia) and Himberg (Lower Austria). As a result of investigative activities in a major fraud case, he came to the Lower Austria Criminal Police Department , Economic Crime Group in 1989 , and in 1993 switched to the "Task Force to Combat Terrorism" (EBT) of the State Police in the Federal Ministry of the Interior (BM.I) as a duty officer. After training as a gendarmerie officer at the BM.I Security Academy in 1995/96, he became the deputy district gendarmerie commander in Bruck ad Leitha (Lower Austria), then personnel officer in the Gendarmeriezentralkommando (GZK) of the BM.I and has been the district police commander in Korneuburg since 1997 (Lower Austria ) out. In addition, he held the function of exploration manager for admission to the police, psychology trainer for basic police training and disciplinary attorney for the disciplinary commission at the Federal Ministry of the Interior for many years.

The Austrian Red Cross honored him with the Silver Merit Medal in 2000 and the Golden Merit Medal in 2011.

Police Safety Award

"This special award for people with courage" was created by him in 2009 not only to say thank you to all members of the blue light organizations, but also to ask those people from the civilian population in front of the curtain who have done an exceptional job for safety of the population. The “Police Safety Award” is presented annually as part of a gala event in the categories “blue light”, “ moral courage ” and “special”. In addition to the award, the achievements are recognized with the bronze, silver and gold medals of the "Police Safety Award".

The figure he embodied, the colorful clown with a high hat and large shoes, was created by chance in 2002, as the clown booked for his daughter's children's birthday party canceled at short notice. He entertains his audience with comedy, magic, ventriloquism and his own children's songs. With his traffic safety show for kindergarten children, he brings his police knowledge to bear in a playful way. The song “I stop at“ Red ”...” was expertly assessed by the Road Safety Board.
