Siegfried Störtte

Siegfried Störtte (born December 31, 1929 in Wermelskirchen ; † October 9, 2018 there ) was a German municipal official. From 1976 to 1994 he was city ​​director of the city of Wermelskirchen.

Life

Störtte grew up in Wermelskirchen, where on May 1, 1947 he began training for the middle administrative service at the Wermelskirchen office. In July 1966 he was appointed treasurer. On September 21, 1976, the city council elected Störtte city director for 12 years. On May 2, 1988 Störtte was elected for a further 8 years. He held the office until his retirement at the end of 1994.

In addition to his work as city director, Störtte was represented in committees and associations; from 1961 to 1976 he was managing director of the volunteer fire brigade in Wermelskirchen. From 1991 to 1993 he was chairman of the Wupper Association and from 1993 to 1994 its chairman of the association council. Störtte was chairman of the support group, on the board of the building association and on the board of trustees of Haus Vogelsang. Störtte was a bearer of the Wermelskirchen Ring of Honor.
