Siegmund Amanti
Siegmund Amanti ( November 22, 1860 in Vienna - after 1903 ) was an Austrian theater actor and comedian .
Life
Amanti began his stage career in 1878 at the Thalia Theater in Vienna, where he performed in the posse O! Susi appeared for the first time, then came to the Theater in der Josefstadt , to the State Theater in Prague , to Dresden and Breslau and in March 1888 joined the Association of the Court Theater in Stuttgart as the successor to August Junkermann . He represented the subject of the first character comedian with great success. His funny humor was extremely effective. In Viennese cozy roles he stood out particularly favorably and found ample opportunity in the whole series of his character figures to let all the lights of his pleasant humorous art play. Among his performances are "Argan", "Habakuk" ("Talisman"), "Landowsky", "Hasemann", "Weigelt", "Striese", "Oberst Ollendorf", "Zettel" and "Rommel" ("Gentlemen sons "). In June 1903 he said goodbye there.
Nothing is known about his further life.
