Siena College is a Catholic college in the US state of New York . It is located in Loudonville , a suburb of Albany , the capital of New York State. In 1937, Siena College was founded by Franciscans . Around 3,000 students study in Siena, most of whom live on the university campus.
The college was named "Best Colleges 2011" by the prestigious US News & World Report in 2011. The economics courses at the Siena School of Business are accredited by AACSB International .
Every year around 200 students spend a year abroad. In return, international students are very welcome (in the award of scholarships from Siena College no distinction is made between American and international students, ie international students can benefit from a scholarship).
