The Sierra Blanca is a mountain range in the Sacramento Mountains in the US state of New Mexico . The highest point is the Sierra Blanca Peak with a height of 3,652 m.
location
The ridge is located in the southern half of New Mexico, in an east-west direction it is roughly centered between the state borders. Parts of the mountain range belong to the Lincoln National Forest and an Indian reservation of the Mescalero . The Sierra Blanca Peak is located about 15 km west-northwest of Ruidoso and almost 50 km north-northeast of Alamogordo .
