Sigitas Slavickas
Sigitas Slavickas (born October 19, 1941 in Skersabaliai , Kalvarija municipality ) is a Lithuanian politician.
Life
Slavickas learned in Raudeniškės , Brazavas and Kalvarija . In 1961 he graduated as a technician from the Kaunas Polytechnic , in 1970 he graduated in mechanics from the Politechnikos institutas in Kaunas and became an engineer . From 1961 to 1964 Slavickas taught as an instructor at Vilniaus politechnikumas and from 1964 to 1990 at Kalvarijos maisto pramonės technikumas . From 1990 to 1993 he worked at Valstybės kontrolė in the Department of Marijampolė and from 1993 to 1996 in Alytus . From 1995 to 1997 he was a member of the council of the Marijampolė district council and from 1996 to 2000 in the Seimas .
From 1988 to 1990 he was a Sąjūdis- Seimas member, from 1993 a member of the Tėvynės Sąjunga .
