Signature move
Any movement in sport, art or entertainment that is a typical “trademark” of a person or fictional figure due to its uniqueness can be described as a signature move . One of the most famous signature moves is Michael Jackson's dance step Moonwalk , which was developed by breakdancers, but only became known through Jackson's stage show and is connected to his person.
meaning
In wrestling , the signature move describes grips, throws and other actions that are only performed by certain wrestlers and thus become a trademark of this wrestler. These actions are often, but not always, the so-called finishing moves . Some signature moves can be found in the list of wrestling fighting techniques .
Even in video games of the beat 'em up genre , certain characters have movements that can become trademarks. In the game series Smackdown vs. RAW there is a special signature move for each figure.
