Sigrid Klausmann

Sigrid Klausmann (* 1955 in Furtwangen in the Black Forest ) is a German director and screenwriter .

Life

Sigrid Klausmann trained as a state-certified sports and gymnastics teacher from 1972 to 1974 and then worked as a teacher at the Schloss Salem school until 1985 . Parallel to her school teaching activity, Klausmann began working as a modern dance teacher and choreographer in 1979. She was responsible for the choreography of the musicals Die Räuber von Kardemomme (1992) and The exceedingly strong Willibald (1996) as well as the dance theater pieces Freiheit (1997) and Unterwegs (2000).

Klausmann has been married to the actor Walter Sittler since 1985 . The two have three grown children and live in Stuttgart.
