description

The Sikin-Pasangan has a curved, wide, double-edged blade with parallel cutting edges. The blade widens from the handle to the location . The place is slightly rounded. The blades usually have a wide, deep hollow grind that runs from the handle to almost the place. The handle has no guard, but a metal ferrule, which is used for better attachment between the handle and the blade, and is mostly made of horn. The pommel is carved in the shape of a fork (Indonian Hulu Peusangan) and polished. The Sikin-Pasangan is a version of the Klewang . It is used by ethnic groups in Sumatra.
