Silke Kohl

Silke Kohl (born November 5, 1971 in Ottweiler ) is a German politician .

education and profession

Silke Kohl attended elementary school in Hoof ( St. Wendel ) and then the district secondary school in St. Wendel, which she graduated in 1988 with secondary school leaving certificate. She then completed an apprenticeship as an administrative clerk. She practiced this profession from 1991 to 2005 in the district town of St. Wendel.

politics

Kohl has been a member of the CDU since 1989 . She was a member of the state board of the Saarland Young Union for ten years and its state treasurer from 1999 to 2005. She has been the treasurer of the Blickweiler-Wolfersheim local association since 2003 and the district chairwoman of the Saarpfalz Women's Union since 2004.

In January 2006 she moved into the thirteenth state parliament of Saarland as a replacement for Hermann Scharf . There she was a member of the submissions , education and health and social affairs committees . She also represents the CDU parliamentary group in the study commission on demographic change. She has not been a member of the state parliament since 2009.

Personal

Kohl is Protestant, married. She has four children.
