Silke Seehusen

Silke Seehusen (* 1953 ) is a professor of computer science at the Lübeck University of Applied Sciences and a specialist in agent-supported and intelligent systems.

She is the author of numerous publications, especially in the fields of multimedia and e-learning . She was significantly involved in the creation of the " Virtual University of Applied Sciences " association. One focus of her work is the advancement of women in technical subjects.

In 2008 she was elected to the University Council of Bochum University by the NRW Ministry of Science .

Seehusen is Vice President of Soroptimist International , Club Ratzeburg (as of January 2011).
