The Sille Dam ( Turkish Sille Barajı ) is located on Sille Çayı 4 km west of the provincial capital Konya in the Turkish province of the same name .
The dam was built between 1953 and 1962 for irrigation and flood protection . The rock embankment dam is 39 m above the valley floor and has a volume of 320,000 m³. The associated reservoir covers an area of 28 hectares in normal stagnation and has a storage space of 2.16 million m³. The dam is used to irrigate an area of 220 ha.
