Silo plate
A silo plate is a commercial vehicle ( truck or trailer ) that is able to transport different materials in specific silos and set up vertically on site. Silo plates are available in different versions for different types of silos, which are listed in the following table.

| 1. DIN silo | These silos, also known as rail or hook silos, which comply with DIN 30734, are picked up by a bolt located centrally on the silo body. The hook of the commercial vehicle engages there and pulls the silo onto the vehicle. |
| 2. Pocket silo | Pocket silos are placed vertically. They have two receiving pockets on both sides into which the shape-optimized receiving tabs slide when being picked up by the commercial vehicle |
| 3. Chain silo | These silos are provided by the vehicle body by means of chains and steel cables |
| 4. Small silos | These silos hold up to 2m 3 and are characterized by a high level of flexibility in handling. The silo can be moved using many different aids that are typically available on the construction site, such as crane, excavator, tongs or forklifts. |
Nowadays, a wide variety of materials for numerous areas of application such as the construction industry , waste disposal , food chemistry , the plastics industry and many more can be transported in the silos . Extended areas of application are also used, such as B. Stainless steel for hygienically demanding contents. In order to transport and set up the different silos, there are different silo plates that are matched to the respective silo type or can handle several types of silos.
Silo plate with basic hookloader
This silo plate has been specially developed for the transport of swap bodies and silos in a variety of variants with standardized subframes (rails) and mounting brackets. The applications range from waste management to wastewater treatment and classic use on construction sites. As a rule, the structure is independent of the vehicle, so that the customer can choose his vehicle manufacturer . The spectrum ranges from two to five-axle chassis.
Pocket silo plate
The pocket silo plate is used to pick up and transport 2-pocket silos. In the case of the pocket silo plate, shape-optimized receiving wings lie against the silo diameter, which has two receiving pockets. This takes up the silo and ensures easy and safe handling. The systems can be mounted on a three or four-axle truck chassis, a tandem trailer or on a semi-trailer .
Saddle silo plate
If a payload above a 4-axle truck chassis is required, the 2- or 3-axle version of the semi-trailer silo plate is used. The silo plate based on a semi-trailer chassis is designed for high lifting capacity and enables a permissible total weight of 40 t. The construction is characterized by the use of high-strength quality steels, its durability and ease of use.
